People were supported by staff who were able to meet their physical and mental health needs and appropriate risk assessments and action plans were in place to deal with deteriorations in people's health when they occurred.
Staff employed by the service received training about safeguarding both vulnerable adults and children and the provider had ensured that people who used the service were protected from the risks of abuse. They had employed people who were suitable to work with vulnerable adults and had carried out the relevant pre-employment checks. Staff were suitably qualified and trained to work with people who used the service.
There was a complaints process in place that was simple to use. Complaints were managed by a local advocacy service and informal feedback was acted upon when necessary.
