During a routine inspection
People who used the service and staff employed by the service spoke positively about a "person centred service" where people who used the service were integral to everything that was planned and delivered in the service.
We checked the arrangements for obtaining the consent of people who used the service. The provider had a robust policy on ensuring people gave consent to their care. Care plans were person centred and contained information which informed care staff how best to support the person. We noted from the review of information and from speaking with people that the provider had established good links with a range of other services and these links ensured people were assisted in a seamless way, that ensured all services worked to ensure the best care for the people who used the service. .
The provider had a robust recruitment and selection process in place and all pre- employment checks had been completed before staff started working. We checked the complaints policy and procedure and found it to be appropriate for the service.
