During a routine inspection
Patient's said they felt well informed about their treatment and were always advised of the individual options available to them. When asked if patients were treated with dignity each patient agreed that they always were. We were told 'Of course they do' and 'Staff are very obliging and treat me very well.'
Patients told us that the service was good because the dentists explained everything clearly and allowed patients plenty of time. Comments about the care and treatment were positive and included 'Very clear explanations' and 'They never rush you.'
During our visit we saw that the building was clean, hygienic and well maintained. Patients we spoke with commented positively on the environment and described the cleanliness as 'Spotless.'
Staff told us that they felt well supported and we saw that there were regular meetings and training. There were quality arrangement in place and patients were encouraged to comment on the service through methods such as a suggestion box and patient surveys.
Patients told us that staff were helpful and knowledgeable and expressed satisfaction with the overall quality of the service. One person said staff were 'Very professional.' Another patient told us the service 'Gets the best marks.'
