During a routine inspection
We found that people who received care from Heritage Home Care had their privacy and dignity respected. They experienced care, treatment and support that met their individual needs and protected their rights.
We found that the care, treatment and support offered to people was provided by suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
We found that systems were in place to protect vulnerable adults from abuse.
The provider had in place a complaints procedure and we found that comments and complaints people made were responded to appropriately.
People we spoke with were positive about the care they received. One person told us "They arrive on time and stay for the full amount of time they're supposed to." Another person with told us "I have regular carers who come in so we know each other really well; they know how to take care of me." Another person said 'I couldn't ask for better carers and management."
