During a routine inspection
Records sampled demonstrated at each visit general health details and medications were updated, soft tissue and palate examinations were noted.
We spoke with four patients during the inspection who all spoke positively about their experiences each time they had visited the practice. Comments included: "They're very good here. I've never had any issues' and 'It's spotless here. The place is always really clean and tidy' and 'I get a text message reminder the day before my appointment. It's also really easy to book an appointment and get seen to quickly' and 'They are very flexible. They are very good to me'.
The practice had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided. Audits were undertaken on a regular basis and included monitoring of decontamination, cleanliness, medical devices, hand hygiene, protective equipment and waste.
We found the practice had several systems in place in order to gain feedback on the service. This included the use of an annual survey and a comments and compliments leaflets for patients.
