During a routine inspection
One person told us that staff were, 'Very friendly, very helpful and very professional.' One relative told us, 'They're all very cheerful and sincere and obviously have client welfare at heart.' Another relative told us, "They are a small agency...they are lovely."
We found that the provider had arrangements in place for assessing and recording consent and people's capacity to consent.
We saw that people's care and treatment was planned and reviewed with the person who used the service and their relative's involvement. Risks to people's health, welfare and safety were identified and well managed. Our inspection showed us that the service was safe, responsive and caring.
We found that there were systems in place to ensure that effective cleanliness and infection control practices were followed.
Staff were selected and recruited in a way that ensured they were suitably qualified and fit for the job.
We found that there were some systems in place to assess and improve the quality of service provision. There was an effective complaints process in place. We found that the service was well-led.
