During a routine inspection
We found that people were treated with respect and that they were asked for their consent before any care was provided. One person said 'they are reliable, respectful and caring.' A member of staff told us 'we must always ask the client before we do anything.'
People were provided with a safe service and had confidence in their 'carers'. A relative told us 'I trust these carers and so does Mum.'
Staff received the training and support that they needed to carry out their duties and to support people who used the service. One member of staff told us 'we get the right sort of training and it's updated every year.'
The provider monitored the quality of service provided to ensure that people were receiving a safe service that met their needs. People who used the service were asked for their opinions about the service and, as far as possible, any issues that were raised were addressed.
