Equity in experiences and outcomes
The registered manager told us how they challenged other professionals, such as hospital staff, to make sure people were not discriminated against because of their disability.
People were treated as individuals and their feedback was sought in ways which were meaningful for them. Staff ensured people living at the home received the support, care or treatment they needed. Staff advocated for people when necessary to ensure people had the right treatment at the right time.
The provider had policies and procedures in place to ensure people were treated fairly and without discrimination.
