During a routine inspection
People told us they felt respected by staff and were fully involved in the decisions about their dental care and treatment. We observed good interaction which people told us helped put them at ease. Two people described the staff as, 'Very kind.'
We were told that staff individually discussed with people how much their treatment would cost. We observed one person being told the cost of their NHS treatment. Staff then checked with the person to ensure it was acceptable.
People told us that they would recommend the service to others.
People commented on the warm welcome they received when they contacted the service to make an appointment. One person told us, 'So nice from the (member of staff) on the phone who said I'm here to help you.'
During our announced visit we asked people if the waiting area and clinics normally looked as clean and tidy. They told us it did. One person said, 'Always clean and fresh, only thing I find scruffy is the weeds and plants outside.' The manager told us that they would be tidying up the driveway and entrance to the service.
