During a routine inspection
People using the service said they had information about the service and were asked for their consent. They said the staff respected their wishes and did not rush them.The agency assessed people's needs and any risks associated with their care and these assessments were reflected in the care plans.
The agency had policies and procedures in place to support staff who were supporting people with their medicines. The agency had recently reviewed its procedures following a medication error.
The agency had effective recruitment procedures for new staff. Managers monitored the service and checked that staff were following people's care plans appropriately. People using the service were asked for their feedback. The agency used information about its performance to improve the service.
