During a routine inspection
We looked at two care plans after the inspection and we noted that they were missing information about people's histories and there were no risk assessments to support people effectively.
We spoke to four family members and they all told us that their children were safe with the carers and they would report to the office if they had any concerns about the staff. Staff and the manager understood their safeguarding responsibilities but we did have to prompt the manager as to their awareness of other agencies they should inform.
Staff received an induction but were not supported in all aspects of their role. There was no evidence of supervision or an annual appraisal to review performance.
