During an inspection looking at part of the service
The provider sent us an action plan detailing how they would improve the service.
During this inspection we found the provider had taken all the action outlined in the plan to address the issues we had raised.
We saw that one of the surgeries had been refitted which included new flooring. This ensured that all surfaces in clinical areas could be cleaned appropriately. Infection control audits had also been carried out. This meant patients were protected from the risk of infection.
The provider had created an audit calendar for the year. Several audits including records, radiographs and waste had been completed with any necessary improvements to be made detailed in an action plan. We found all staff we spoke with were aware of these audit results through regular team meetings.
A patient satisfaction survey had been completed and we saw evidence that comments were acted on by the provider in order to improve the service.
