During a routine inspection
At the time of this inspection the manager registered with CQC was Mrs Kate Ransome. A new manager was in the process of registering. The new manager was present during the inspection and is referred to as the practice manager in our report.
The service operated on an appointments only basis. At the time of our inspection there were no appointments scheduled. We were provided with contact details of people who had used the service who had consented to speak with us.
People who used M Smile told us the service was responsive to their needs. They were treated with respect and were fully involved in discussions about and planning for their treatment.
We spoke with three adults who had received different kinds of treatment. They told us their treatment had been effective. One person said, 'I was very pleased with the service and will continue to use them if I need them'.
There was a system in place to ensure appropriate levels of cleanliness and hygiene for the premises and the equipment.
Staff had the appropriate skills and knowledge to deliver compassionate care and treatment.
The service was well managed, and accurate records were maintained.
