During a routine inspection
We saw that patient's were involved in decisions about the treatment they received, and had signed consent forms when required. Medical history questionnaires had been completed at each visit. We viewed computer records that confirmed that medical histories had been updated.
Staff were able to demonstrate a good level of understanding regarding safeguarding. Infection control audit tools had been completed, and cleaning systems were documented. This provided assurance that systems were in place to protect people against infection control risks. We looked at staff recruitment files, to ensure the provider had robust systems in place. Checks and audits were seen to be in place to assess and monitor the quality of service provided.
