During a routine inspection
We saw that peoples' preferences were recorded in care plans regarding the way they wanted their care to be provided and planned. Care and support was appropriately assessed and each care visit was documented with guidelines for staff for the care and support the person required.
There were effective safeguarding training and procedures for protecting vulnerable adults and children in place to ensure that all staff were aware of their responsibility in reporting any incidents or allegations of abuse.
Staff received appropriate training and supervision to ensure that they had the required skills to effectively support people using the service.
There were policies and procedures in place to ensure that the quality and effectiveness of the service was assessed and monitored.
