During a routine inspection
Staff said they received training and were supported by the provider to care for people and meet their needs. We saw that people's care files included a care plan that showed they were involved in planning how their care was delivered.
There were safeguarding procedures in place and staff were aware of how to report and escalate any concerns. The service had quality assurance and monitoring arrangements in place and had implemented changes where appropriate.
There were enough staff at the time of inspection to ensure that people's needs were met and that if an emergency arose the staffing levels were sufficient to enable staff to take timely action.
Medicines were safely stored, prescribed and destroyed and appropriate guidelines in place. Medical notes were stored safely and securely.
