During a routine inspection
People and their relatives told us that staff always asked for their consent before providing any care or support. One person told us 'They ask before doing anything' and one relative said 'They always ask if he would like a shave'.
We saw that people's care needs were assessed and that care and support was delivered in line with people's needs. People and their relatives told us that they were happy with their care. One person told us that staff were 'Very good' and 'They have been absolutely brilliant'.
We saw that the provider had policies and procedures in place in relation to infection control. People told us that they had no concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene of staff. For example, one person told us 'Staff are always washing their hands'.
We looked at other records during our visit and saw that the provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of the care they provided.
