During a routine inspection
Records were kept about each patient and stated their doctor, next of kin and medical and/or mental health condition. Any additional information such as, requiring a wheelchair, was also included.
The provider had regular meetings with other services to ensure everyone was happy with the standard of transport being offered. Records were kept of those meetings and any action required.
Staff had been trained in first aid and dealing with emergencies. Checks had been made on all first aid and oxygen equipment carried in vehicles.
Adequate checks were made to ensure each vehicle was roadworthy and had suitable amounts of equipment for staff to use.
