During a routine inspection
People's dietary needs were assessed and they continued to be monitored. The food provided looked appetising and snacks and drinks were made available at any time. People said 'The food is good' and 'The food is always tasty.' Another person told us 'The menus were changed with the residents and relatives input. This was very good.' This helped to maintain people's nutritional needs.
Recruitment procedures were in place to help prevent staff that were not suitable from gaining work within the home. People we spoke with commented generally about the staff, they said: 'The staff are pleasant. They are skilled.' And 'The staff are attentive and kind. Nothing is too much trouble.'
The quality of the service being provided was being monitored by the management team. Any issues found were acted upon. Complaints policies and procedures were in place. Issues raised were looked into. This helped to ensure that people would remain satisfied with the service they received.
