During a routine inspection
Each person had a support plan based on their needs, choices and capabilities. People's views and preferences had been taken into account in the preparation of their support plans. Documents demonstrated that people were fully involved in making decisions about what they did and how they spent their time. One person told us, "It's wonderful. I like it." Another told us, "It is a good service."
Staff told us they had received training in safeguarding vulnerable adults from abuse and were clear that abuse could take many different forms. They knew what to do if there was an allegation or suspicion of abuse.
Staff we spoke with were positive about their roles. One staff member said, "I love it." Another member of staff told us, "I love it. I really love supporting the service users. I go home feeling I have done a job worth doing." One person told us, "The staff are very nice to you."
Records were accurate, fit for purpose and held securely.
