During a routine inspection
We spoke with the dental nurses and reception staff. They were positive about working at the practice and commented on the good team approach they had. They all felt supported by the registered manager.
Information was available for people including details about charges and the procedure for making complaints. There were a range of informative leaflets about dental treatments and good oral hygiene.
There was good control of infection and dedicated decontamination arrangements. Staff had training to deal with this and received other training including, child and adult protection, emergency first aid and resuscitation.
Audits were carried out to monitor the quality of the service that included gaining feedback from people who attended the practice.
