During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us they thought the dentist provided good dental treatment. One person had followed the dentist from their previous employment and travelled further to see them because they were so happy with the treatment provided. People commented 'I know what is good and what is not good, I am over the moon about the practice'. We spoke with a person who was anxious when they visited the dentist and they said 'very good, they tell me what is happening, talked through everything and is very thorough'. Another person said 'I would recommend them. I think they are very good'.
The practice had an effective system in place to ensure people were not at risk of exposure to infections. Staff were aware of their role to ensure vulnerable adults and children were protected from the possibility of abuse. The manager had systems in place to continuously monitor the practice to ensure it was meeting our essential standards of quality and safety.
