During a routine inspection
People were positive about the treatment they received at the High Street Medical Dental practice. People's comments included 'The staff were friendly, keen to help and supportive', "I am always very well looked after here." "I have always felt well cared for when I visit here. The dentists always explain everything very clearly." A new patient to the practice said 'I am a very nervous patient and the dentist made me feel at ease and I would recommend this practice to other people.'
Thank you cards received included the comments 'Thanks for keeping me smiling, I really do appreciate it' and 'You made an old lady very happy. Everyone has remarked how nice my teeth look now'.
People were given all the information they needed to make an informed decision about their treatment, and were asked to sign their consent to their treatment.
Staff at the practice, received regular training and were given a professional appraisal of their work every year.
A complaints/comments system was in place that encouraged patient feedback as this was considered important for improving the service.
