During a routine inspection
We found that people were involved in care planning and making decisions about their care. People told us that they knew what was in their plans of care and could change things if they chose too. They told us that care staff were very flexible and responded to what they wanted on a daily basis rather than 'sticking rigidly to what is written down'.
We found that people were happy with the care the service offered them. They told us they were 'well cared for'. One person told us it felt like the 'company and care staff genuinely care about me and go the extra mile'.
People told us they felt comfortable with the care staff in their home. They said that care staff were 'completely trustworthy and honest'.
The agency had quality assurance methods to make sure that they maintained and improved the quality of care they were providing. People told us they were 'very happy' with the standard of care offered. Five of the six people told us they had never had 'cause to complain' and had no concerns about the service. One person told us that their complaint had been dealt with appropriately
