During a routine inspection
Three inspectors and an expert by experience undertook this inspection. We looked at all the areas where non compliance was evident previously. We found that improvements had been made in six of the seven areas of non compliance to attain compliance. The provider could demonstrate they had systems and structures in place to develop and ensure the home continued to improve outcomes for the people who lived there.
We spoke with seven people using the service, two visiting professionals, nine staff, and observed care and support offered to four people during the day. The expert spoke with six people and one visitor.
People who used the service told us they were happy with the care and support provided under the new management arrangements and offered comments which included, 'It is very good, I've enjoyed living here.' Another person said, 'I am happy, I like the staff, they talk nicely to me.'A person who spoke with the expert said, 'I have a cooked breakfast every day. They are very good at looking after you here.'
