We spoke with four people during our inspection who all told us they were satisfied with all aspects of their care and treatment. They told us they felt they had been shown respect and said that staff were polite and friendly. One person said, "I have had a lot of treatment and had some complex dental care that was fully explained to me".People's clinical records showed they were included and involved in making decisions about their treatment and that comprehensive records had been recorded and maintained.
The practice was achieving best practice, as recommended by the Department of Health guidelines, for their infection control systems.
The practice had not taken suitable steps to ensure children and vulnerable people would be protected from abuse, although staff had an understanding of how abuse could occur and that action should be taken to prevent this.
The premises were spacious, bright ,comfortable and clean and had been fitted out to a modern and high specification.
