During a routine inspection
People told us, 'We work together with the service like a team and they put a lot of effort in' and 'I don't know what we would do if they stopped the service'.
We looked at the support plans of four people who used the service. We saw procedures in place to ensure their consent was gained in relation to the care provided. People told us, 'This service has been a lifeline for us' and 'They always follow through with the agreements made at the review meetings' also 'We have regular meetings and we always get a copy of the notes'.
People told us they had no concerns about the care being provided and they felt safe and protected from potential harm. A relative spoken with said, 'My son has come on leaps and bounds. They always make sure he is with a support worker that he knows. It's a weight off our shoulders' and 'They do all sorts of activities with my son and he loves it'.
We looked at two staff records and saw evidence that support workers had been appropriately recruited and provided with training relevant to their role. People spoken with said, 'The support workers do a very good job' and 'They are well qualified and really good'.
