During a routine inspection
People told us that overall they were happy with the support they were receiving. They said they had copies of their care and support plans at home. Some people were able to recall staff discussing the content with them.
People said they had been asked about the support they needed and they received it in the ways that they preferred.
People said staff were kind and polite and they usually had the same staff to support them.
One person said 'They give me quite a lot of support with making hospital and other appointments 'and 'I am happy with them'. Another person said staff helped them with 'Chores, shopping, making telephone calls and going to appointments' and that 'Staff are nice'.
Most people said staff always arrived when they were supposed to, although one person said on occasions they had been late.
We found that the organisation had effective staff recruitment and selection systems in place and that staff were well trained for their roles.
There were systems in place to monitor the quality of the service. These included systems to ask people who used the service and their representatives for their views about it.
