At the time of our assessment 37 people lived at the service. We visited the service on 28 August 2024. We spoke with people who use the service, their relatives and staff from 12 August 2024 to 28 August 2024. At our last assessment in February 2024 we identified a breach of the legal regulation good governance. Following our findings the provider submitted an action plan. The purpose of this assessment was to follow up on the action plan and the identified breaches and determine if the service was now compliant with the regulations. This assessment has not changed the overall rating. The service remains good. At this assessment we found the service was now compliant with the regulations.

We spoke with 3 people and 4 relatives of people who use the service. We received positive feedback about people’s care and support. People and relatives could raise any concerns they had to the service and told us they were listened to. A person said, “Yes I am listened to.”
Relatives told us people were safe. When asked if their loved one was safe, we heard, “Yes, very much so”. People using the service told us staff were caring and we observed this during our assessment.
We saw compliments the service had received from people and their relatives. Compliments stated people were happy with their care, and relatives were grateful for the care their loved ones had received.
Relatives told us the home was well managed and they were satisfied with the service their loved ones were receiving.
However, some people and relatives said at times there were challenges in relation to call bell wait times, which could be frustrating for people, especially when routines were important to people.
