During a routine inspection
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
One person told us: "They (staff) are always polite, smart and on time." A relative told us: "They are absolutely brilliant, it's how care should be."
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. All staff had received training in abuse awareness and protecting vulnerable adults in the previous year. There were resources available to all staff in relation to safeguarding.
People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. One member of staff told us: 'I love my work: I find it very rewarding and enjoyable. I am always well supported.'
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. Quality questionnaires were routinely sent to people who used the service and to staff every three months.
