Dr Timothy Ryder, also known as Ruskington Medical Practice, delivers the regulated activities of; Treatment of disease, disorder or injury;
Surgical procedures;
Diagnostic and screening procedures;
Maternity and midwifery services;
Family planning;
from a single surgery at 6 Brookside Close, Ruskington, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9GQ.
The practice has a patient list of 7837 and is a dispensing practice to approximately 33% of patients.
The practice has three GPs, two clinical practitioners (advanced nurse practitioners), two urgent care practitioners (paramedics), two practice nurses, a clinical pharmacist, one clinical care co-ordinator, one clinical care support worker and two health care support workers. They are supported by a team of dispensers, patient navigators, managers, a quality improvement manager and administration staff.
Services are commissioned by NHS South West Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
The practice has a higher percentage of patients aged 65 and over than the CCG and national average. Life expectancy is a little higher than the CCG and national average for males and slightly lower than the CCG average for females. The practice lies in the eighth decile of deprivation where one represents the highest levels of deprivation.
The practice is open from 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Pre-booked extended hours at the practice are available three mornings a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30am) and telephone appointments every evening 6.30pm to 7.00pm.
Pre-bookable extended hours appointments are available at the extended hours hub in Sleaford between 6.30pm and 8pm weekdays and 9am and 12noon Saturday and Sunday.
When the practice is closed GP out-of-hours services are provided by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust that are contactable through the NHS111 service.
