During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made
The provider wrote to us and told us they were compliant. They had completed a risk assessment on 23 September 2013. This assessment explained why they did not have a AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It set out the control measures that were in place.
We found that the provider had taken action and was now compliant with this standard. This was to ensure that in the event of a medical emergency people were provided with prompt emergency treatment. The provider had carried out a risk assessment to ensure that the systems they had in place were sufficient to meet the needs of people who attended the clinic.
