During a routine inspection
We looked at records which showed that people's care and support needs had been assessed, documented and reviewed. They were personalised and gave staff clear guidance on how to meet people's individual requirements. One person told us, 'They [staff] look after us very well and do everything we need and ask for'.we normally get regular carers; the same ones who really know us.'
People who used the service had been protected from the risk of abuse. Published guidance about safeguarding vulnerable people had been made available to staff and put into practice. One person who used the service commented, 'We've got no worries. We are safe without a doubt.'
Records showed that suitable arrangements had been put in place to ensure staff were appropriately supported to perform their roles. One member of staff told us, 'The manager is really good; very approachable and always available on the phone.'
We looked at records which showed that systems were in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of services provided.
