Updated 29 August 2024
Date of assessment 25 September 2024 to 1 October 2024. We carried out a site visit to the service on 1 October 2024. Panecea Care is a service for people with mental health needs. This service provides care and support to people living in 2 ‘supported living’ settings, so that they can live as independently as possible. People’s care and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. CQC does not regulate premises used for supported living; this inspection looked at people’s personal care and support. At the time of our assessment, 11 people were living in the supported living settings. We carried out this assessment as part of our routine schedule of assessments. The last rating for this service was good (published 5 April 2018). The rating after this assessment remains good. We found that people were happy and received a good standard of care and support. There were effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service. Staff had the information and training they needed to care for people in a safe way.
