Our view of the service
Date of assessment 18 September to 19 September 2024. Ruddington Manor Care Centre is a ‘care home’ providing personal and nursing care and support to older people and people living with dementia. Ruddington Manor Care Centre was last rated Good (published 3 August 2023). The report was published following CQC’s old inspection approach using Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs), prompts and ratings characteristics. This assessment has been completed following the Care Quality Commission (CQC) new approach to assessment; Single Assessment Framework (SAF). We assessed a total of 10 quality statements from the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions and found areas of good practice. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection. The assessment of these 10 quality statements indicated areas of good practice since the last inspection, our overall rating remains good.
People's experience of this service
People told us that they felt safe at this service. They told us that the staff were supportive and responsive. People told us staff understood them and treated them with respect. They felt listened to.
