During a routine inspection
People told us they were fully involved in discussions and decisions about their treatment and said they were listened to by the doctors and nurses in the surgery. Comments included, '"The doctors always ask about the purpose of the appointment and how they can help' and 'The doctors are respectful and I feel I'm listened to'.
People were very satisfied with the way they were treated by staff. One person told us, "The doctor contacted me to see if they could do a home visit after my relative had surgery. The reassurance we got was great. Where else will I get service like that?'
The surgery had a policies and procedures in place in relation to safeguarding both children and vulnerable adults. Staff were aware of their responsibilities should they have any concerns about people who attended the surgery.
Staff told us they enjoyed working at the surgery and felt supported by other members of the team. One person commented, "I enjoy working here. I wouldn't have the same opportunities if I went anywhere else'.
The provider had appropriate systems in place to monitor the quality of service provision.
