During a routine inspection
In the case records we looked at, we saw evidence that people were given choices about the care they received. People told us staff provided the care that was recorded in their support plans. One person told us, 'The staff are very good. They help me the way I want them to.'
People who used the service and their relatives told us they were very happy with the service they received and how staff cared for them. One relative told us, 'All the staff are fantastic, marvellous. They bend over backwards to help. I would recommend them to anyone. They are well named.' Other comments people had made in the service user satisfaction survey included, 'Very happy with the service. I enjoy a good relationship with my carers. I look forward to them coming' and 'Thank you all for being so supportive and compassionate during this difficult time of caring for my Mam.'
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
The service had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
