During a routine inspection
In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a Registered Manager on our register at the time. However we were told that a new manager had been appointed and their application for registration was currently being processed by the commission.
Customer delivery agreement were formulated on the basis of the information supplied and with a visit to the person's home. The agreement would be for a period of six to eight weeks. Clear person centred goals and outcomes were set and agreed with the individual. This was confirmed by people we spoke with and those we visited at their home. We found that people knew the aims of the service and felt well supported by staff to achieve their goal. People expressed their gratitude to the service.
We found that staff went through a robust recruitment process, comprehensive induction and received in excess of the mandatory training. There was a reliable audit system in place and delivery of service was well monitored.
