During a routine inspection
People felt that sufficient information had been provided to them to inform their decision making regarding treatment discussed and therefore give consent. We found that people's health and travel needs were assessed, and care was planned in a way that ensured their safety and welfare. We saw that the service was managing medicines safely, and appropriate procedures were in place to protect people against the risks associated with medicines. The provider undertook appropriate checks before employing staff to ensure that people's needs were met by qualified and competent staff. People's records were fit for purpose and the provider maintained personalised records in a secure and confidential manner.
