During a routine inspection
During our inspection we met nine care staff, all four people using the service, two deputy managers and a visiting professional. We spoke to three of the staff, the visiting professional and the two deputy managers privately. The other staff and the people using the service were observed and chatted to informally. We spoke to the registered manager after the inspection.
The visiting professional said they had no concerns about the home or the care provided. They told us that they had raised a concern previously and felt this was managed and dealt with appropriately. They said staff were willing and motivated and they been working closely together on one person's care plan.
Staff told us that they were happy, motivated and enjoyed their work. They said staffing numbers and quality were suitable to provide good quality care and meet people's needs. Our observations confirmed this and although people using the service could not tell us this verbally we saw that they were happy and relaxed and the care they received reflected their assessed needs.
