During a routine inspection
We spoke with four people who use the service and four of their relatives. People we spoke with understood the care and treatment choices available to them and they were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. All of the people we spoke to said care workers understood and supported their choices and preferences. All people stated they had regular care workers that they knew well and had built good relationships with.
Care workers protected people's privacy and dignity and treated them with respect. For example, people said 'I am very satisfied with the service I receive' and a family member said 'they do things the way she likes them done.'
People's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. People told us that their needs had been assessed when they first started receiving care and that these assessments had been ongoing.
People told us they were able to give views about the service and felt listened to. People said they knew how to raise concerns if there were any but they had not felt the need to do so.
