During a routine inspection
All the people we met and spoke with were able to tell us they were very happy with the standard of care and support provided by their support workers. One person commented, 'I like to be asked if I am happy.' They said this made them feel they were being listened to.
We found that people were provided with all the practical assistance and encouragement they needed to live independently in their own home and engage with the community. We saw from records and from talking with staff that people had been enabled to make informed choices about their lifestyle. We also found that people's preferences for the way they wanted their support to be provided had been taken into account and acted upon.
We found this small agency to be appropriately managed and we saw that people received reliable, safe and effective care that enabled them to live independently at home.
