During a routine inspection
We spoke with the registered manager, the director of operations, training manager and three support workers.
As part of the inspection, we spoke with two people who used the service, one family member of someone who used the service and one professional who knew the service well.
One person who used the service told us: 'I do like it here. The staff are nice and I like the people'.
We looked at how people's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care.
We looked at how the care and welfare needs of people who used the service were met.
We looked at safeguarding procedures in place at the service. The provider told us how the staff were trained to identify signs of abuse and how they dealt with it appropriately.
We checked whether people were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
We looked to see that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
