Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. The Registered Provider must provide a written report to the Care Quality
Commission within 28 days of this condition taking effect and on the first
working day of each month thereafter. The report must include:
a. A summary of audits that have taken place at Walberton Place Care Home to
include when and by whom these audits were undertaken. These audits must
include confirmation of:
• risks* to service users have been identified and assessed;
• accuracy and completeness of care plans and risk assessments
including clear guidance for staff in how to mitigate risks to the health,
safety and welfare of service users.
• accuracy and completeness of records including daily notes, and where
appropriate continence support, changing position, mouth care, and
monitoring food and fluids.
• Medicine administration, including stock management, staff
competency assessments and medication documentation

*Risks to service users must include those relating to:
• specific health conditions;
• mobility and falls
• end of life care;
• nutritional and hydration
• swallowing and choking
• skin integrity
• Infection prevention and control
b. A summary of the number and type of incidents and accidents, including
incidents of emotional based behaviour, that had occurred in the previous
month, together with the provider’s analysis of trends and actions taken to
reduce risks of reoccurrence.
c. A summary of what action you have taken because of any audit, including the
actions that have been taken if any errors or omissions are found.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Walberton Place Care Home.
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 80 service users at Walberton Place Care Home.
