Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not admit any new clients to the service without the written permission of the Care Quality Commission.

The Registered Provider must ensure that homely remedies are individually and immediately assessed, prescribed and administered for each client currently admitted to the service. The Registered Provider shall submit evidence of these assessments and that this has been completed for each client currently admitted to the service within 7 days.

The Registered Provider must ensure that prescription only medications are prescribed and administered on an individualised basis immediately for each client currently admitted to the service. Medication must not be administered from stock. The Registered Provider must submit evidence of individualised prescription only assessments within 7 days.

The Registered Provider must ensure that PRN protocols are put in place immediately and reviewed for each client currently admitted to the service. The provider must submit evidence of this protocol to the Care Quality Commission within 7 days.

The Registered Provider must ensure that all medical assessments are immediately revised and completed with due regard to a client’s full medical history and that subsequent prescribing of medication takes this history into account where consent has been obtained. The Registered Provider must submit evidence of each client’s medical history within 7 days.
