Staff had a good understanding of how to safeguard vulnerable adults and the escalation routes for safeguarding concerns. Staff felt assured that management would deal with safeguarding incidents appropriately. We observed no direct safeguarding concerns, however we did observe that some staff interactions were still not always respectful and staff still spoke about people when they were in the room. Risks to people’s safety were assessed and guidance was available for staff. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs.
