Salisbury Avenue Healthcare is a GP practice registered with the Care Quality Commission under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 to provide the following regulated activities: diagnostic and screening procedures, family planning, midwifery and maternity services, surgical procedures, and treatment of disease, disorder, or injury. We conducted a remote assessment on 10 March 2025 to follow-up on topic areas not assessed during the last inspection.

The results from the practice's latest GP patient survey in 2024 showed a decline in patients' overall experience compared to the previous year. In the April 2023 survey, the practice achieved a score of 50.8%, but this dropped to 48.5% in the March 2024 survey. This was significantly below the local average of 73.9%. All other patient indicators were in line with local averages, except for the percentage of patients who responded positively about their experience contacting the practice. This figure was 48.6%, well below the local average of 67.3%.
However, the survey was conducted in January 2024, prior to the implementation of the practice's new telephone system in April 2024 and represents only a small percentage of the practice population. In contrast, the practice's monthly in-house survey showed improved results overall.
