Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 1 May 2024 Elixir Treatments Limited is a nurse led service located in Egham, Surrey. The service provides several Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated treatments predominately weight-loss/obesity management services alongside treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and treatment of migraines. Activities outside of CQC scope of registration include anti-ageing injections, chemical peels and skin care advice. We carried out this assessment to confirm that the service had carried out their plan to meet the legal requirements in relation to the breaches in regulation that we identified in our previous inspection in January 2023. The service had made several improvements in how they govern activity, this included strengthening existing governance processes and where required implementing new processes, for example new prescription processes. The service remains rated as Good overall, remains rated as Good for the provision of Safe, Effective, Caring and Responsive care and is now, following this assessment rated Good for the provision of Well-Led services.

People's experience of this service

We found patient feedback from a variety of sources was overwhelmingly positive. From the feedback we reviewed, patients commented how they were involved in all decisions, felt listened to and reassured throughout the initial assessment and treatment. Further patient feedback highlighted their gratitude for the difference their treatment had made to their confidence and mental well-being.
