During a routine inspection
People told us that they knew why they had to spend time in the hospital. One person said that they felt their rehabilitation process had progressed well. Another person told us that they felt much better after spending time in the hospital. People on one ward told us that there were activities for them to join in and they enjoyed taking part in these.
Not everybody was able to tell us about their individual rehabilitation process and relied on the therapists and staff to tell them.
We observed good interactions between staff and patients. Staff were seen to be kind and considerate and treated people with respect.
