During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us they always got enough to eat or drink. We found that people were protected from the risks of inadequate nutrition and dehydration.
People told us they found the environment in the hospice to be clean. We found there were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
We found that appropriate pre-employment checks were done and that effective recruitment processes were in place.
We spoke with two people who used the service. One of them told us they were not sure how to go about making a complaint, whilst the other person told us they would know who to contact if they had any concerns. We found that complaints leaflets were available and that there was an effective complaints system in place.
